Our Mom, Barbara Bledsoe Roberts left this world and made a new home in heaven to live with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday evening November 28, 2016 at Sylvia's Hospice House, Ocala, Fl with her daughter Colleen by her side following a brief illness. She was born November 25,1931 in Winston-Salem, N.C. the daughter of John Eaton and Marion Fulp Bledsoe. She was a member of Southern Home Old Regular Baptist Church. She was a retired supervisor in the Military Traffic Management Command for the US Army in Charleston, S.C. During her career, she received numerous awards for her meritorious service. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Betty Sue Platt, brothers, Richard, Phillip, and Mac Bledsoe and one grandson Travis Modlin. Surviving are her children Steve and Mary Roberts, Colleen and Elder William Adair Sr., Robin and Dave Powell, and Art and Shirley Roberts. Brothers, Jack and Lisa Bledsoe, and Wayne and Debbie Bledsoe, nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Mom, we will miss you so much but we also know you are in a better place. We will wait with patience until that great and glorious day that we will all be united in heaven.
